“Sign Up for Singing!” for 2-4 year olds

9.45am - 10.30am

A fun-filled 45 minute music session for 2 to 4 year olds who love music and singing. An opportunity for parents and children to learn simple signs to support and develop their communication - no experience necessary. 

Learn original songs full of helpful signs, and plenty of old favourites. Play instruments, join in the music games, and most of all have lots of silly fun!

Price: £4 per child - includes drink & a biscuit and tea/coffee for the grown-ups.

“Big Music for Little Monsters” 5yrs and up

11am - 12noon

An action-packed 1 hour music workshop for 5 year olds up to adults.

  • Learning to play an instrument? Bring it along and be part of the band.
  • Got a musical parent or carer? Bring them along too!
  • Don't play anything? Never fear, no experience necessary!

This workshop includes learning original songs for children, some old favourites, and the chance to write and perform our very own song.  

Price: £5 per child includes drink & a biscuit, tea/coffee for adults and a recording of the song to be emailed after the session.

About Al

Al Start is a singer-songwriter who works with children in many Brighton schools.

She writes, records and performs her own Excellent Songs for Children, and has had many sell-out shows at The Komedia including recently Gorrid the Horrid and The Pirate Adventure Show.

She has 24 years’ experience of working with children, has a current CRB and insurance.
