RESULTS AND REPORT OF 3RD LEG OF WINTER LEAGUE 10/02/2008

A bright crisp early spring day greeted us for the 3rd leg of our Winter league , making me wish I was competing rather than organising.

Entries were rather modest. However, seven in the Freestyle to Music class showed how much this class has gained popularity. Levels ranged form Novice to Advanced Medium and was eventually won by louse Clark on Pino, doing their

Elementary test. They then returned to the arena, this time at Medium, for which they competed hors concours. Thanks must go to Alison Harvey who got delegated the job of organising the actual music, providing the equipment and putting on the tapes and CD's.

Overall the day went smoothly without major hitches and I must thank, not only the committee members who helped out, but also Angela, to whom I thrust a clipboard as an emergency stand in steward.

At the end of the day, I did my usual wonder round the lorry parks and was delighted to find that everyone had cleared up any mess (or just not made any!) so there was none left for me to clear up. Thanks very much everybody, much appreciated.
