THE FRIENDS OF LLANDAFF CATHEDRAL The Society of The Friends of Llandaff Cathedral was formed in 1933. The aims of the Society are twofold, namely (1) to bring together in a common fellowship of loyalty and devotion, all those who care for the ancient Cathedral Church of Llandaff, and (2) to assist the Dean and Chapter in suitably maintaining its fabric and services. The business of the Society is managed by a Council elected by the members of which the the Dean is the Chairman. The Annual Meeting is held in the Cathedral on a Saturday in June-July and includes an Annual Lecture

The Society gave maximum support to the last Restoration Appeal and made a significant donation to the new ring of twelve bells installed in 1992. The Society is presently supporting the improvement of the area leading to the West Front and the external and internal lighting of the Cathedral. Everyone who cares about the Cathedral should be a 'Friend'. If you are not, please contact the Treasurer to find out how you become one.
