The Riverside Drama Company was formed in 1992, and is an active amateur group of over 20 members, mainly from the Long Eaton and Beeston areas. We usually present three productions a year (two full length plays and a one-act play), which gives our members plenty of opportunity to be involved with all aspects of amateur theatre. As with all drama groups in the area, our aim is to bring a varied selection of interesting plays to the community of Long Eaton. New members (in any capacity - acting or backstage) are always welcome. We meet on Thursday evenings from 7.30pm - 10pm, adding an additional rehearsal evening (usually a Tuesday) as a production date draws closer.
We currently meet & rehearse in
the New
Venture Social Club (over Beeston railway bridge and turn
right), before putting on the production in
the
Devonshire Studio
at
the Chatsworth Centre.
