Sylvia joined the group in 2003, and within a month of joining was prompt for Secondary Cause of Death.  Prior to joining Riverside, Sylvia has performed for several years with Thurrock Courts Players, an Essex group she belonged to before moving to the Midlands.

Some pre-Riverside productions have included Keep an Eye on Amélie, Outside Edge, Revengers' Comedies, and Helga in Allo Allo.
