Pat
returned to the group in 2000 after a gap of a few years, and has
directed many of our productions. Pat states that his
toughest challenge as a Director in his 40 years of amateur dramatics
was Noises
Off.
Any farce is technically and artistically demanding but Noises
Off
remains the farce to end all farces. By dint of many months of
rehearsal, many hours of set construction and many rehearsals of “moves”
(including the set!) he feels that the Group exceeded his expectations. In addition to his directing, Pat is also an
accomplished character actor and has appeared in a number of
Riverside productions.
