RIVERSIDE Drama Company is offering thrills and chills with a production of Dead Guilty at St John's Church Hall, Canal Street, Long Eaton, on Thursday, May 12, to Saturday, May 14.
In Richard Harris's psychological thriller, when John Haddrell dies of a heart attack at the wheel of his car, the woman at his side is not his wife Margaret, but his lover Julia. Recovering from her injuries, Julia is visited by Margaret, who apparently knows nothing of the affair.
Events take a sinister turn when home help Gary is dismissed, and Julia is estranged from her counsellor Anne.
As things happen and Julia begins to lose her mind, is it Gary's possessiveness to blame or does Margaret know more than she is letting on?
One to get you on the edge of your seats, this production marks the directorial debut for Riverside regular Janet Bradbery.
Sylvia Holmes takes on the huge role of Julia while Liz Turner also has a massive role as Margaret.
Gary is played by John Lomas and Ann by Jo East. Pat Clarke provides the voice of the coroner.
Tickets are priced £5 adults and £3.50 concessions and they are available from Heaps Stationers, Main Street, Long Eaton, Chatsworth Centre Saturday coffee mornings (10am- 12noon), or by calling 0115 9170327.
