WORD PERFECT: Beeston's Riverside Drama Company is
performing two one-act plays at Long Eaton's Duchess Theatre on
Thursday, July 11, and on the Friday at 7.30pm each night.
Growing Pains by Ian Armstrong takes a poignant
look at family life through the eyes of a married couple, played by Paul
Norris and Liz Turner, whose relationship is centred around their son.
The second play, a one-man show entitled Anorak Of Fire, provides
Riverside's leading light Martin Holtom with an opportunity to show off
his immense theatrical talent as Gus Gascoigne, a trainspotter who has a
one- track mind and a simple mission - to spot every train in England!
Tickets for the double bill cost £4 for adults
(£2.50 concessions) and can be boosted on 01332-523102 or by e-mailing
