Our first EVER gig was here, at the Lord Nelson, down on Poole Quay... which was even more nerve-racking for Baz and Lisa, as both of them had considered the Nelson their 'local' for a number of years! So, after watching hundreds of other local would-be rock gods getting up on stage....now it was finally our turn!! Well, we're not quite Rock Gods (or Goddesses?!) perhaps...though we did do a Metallica cover (Nothing else matters)...and even did Guns 'N' Roses Sweet Child of Mine! No problems for Frank, our resident 'Pro', as he had taken to the stage here on many a fine evening...

So. what with Baz hiding so far at the back that he was virtually out in the harbour, Lisa having a bad attack of stage fright (well, it WAS our first time!) and Frank just casually doing his thing in his usual laid-back manner, it made for an interesting evening. But as the night went on (and the cider flowed in Lisa's case!) we relaxed into it for what turned out to be a brilliant first gig! We had a brilliant reception...with lots of comments such as 'lovely' and 'gorgeous'...not quite sure if they were talking about the music or referring to our stunningly beautiful band members (!!!)...but who cares!! It was a good start and one to remember.

Sadly, we have no photos to record our debut, only some video footage which might one day make it to the website if we could ever figure out how to make the files small enough!!
