After our successes in Cornwall we were finally off to Erin to take the fight to the Invaders' core lands.
We thought Albion was wet until we got to Erin.
Over the Winter the Eored had moved from the Steppe Alliance to the Algaia. Normally these two nations are close but this won't have helped. The Eored had sad news for us - Rhod had been with them over the Winter and had fallen while helping them with a problem involving the Spirits.
The mercenaries and Hei Ravni were working much closer than previously, often sharing tasks to reduce the workload. In the mercenary camp we had three new companies - Garrisen, the Brotherhood, and the Crimson Traders.
Poor Lucius and Brother Tobias were run off their feet delivering messages and information about the invaders. Unfortunately Brother Tobias was too injured during this to take to the battlefield.
The invaders attempted parley with the Wolves but their requirements were a little too unlikely to be accepted.
We were attacked by Fomori a few times, possibly a bit of a natural hazard on the coasts of Erin.
We finally seemed to have caught the invaders off guard, or maybe they are only effective when they are on the attack and don't know how to defend an area when they have taken it. In both battles we managed to out manoeuvre them and put them under pressure rather than the other way round. We almost managed to take their general but he fled rather than face us.
Lord Happsburg of the Vipers was captured and held by a group of the Invader fae officers but we managed to get him back on the second attempt.
The scarecrows were now joined by a flesh version. They are now called by the generic name of construct as we are beginning to realise they are a major threat. Constructs were seen gathering body parts after battles. A raiding party managed to destroy one of the factories and almost managed to capture its controller but a beast came at them from nowhere and killed him.
We had an outbreak of bad spirits in the camp that caused chaos for quite a while. We may need a hearth spirit to protect the camp from bad spirits. Everything that went wrong in the camp was Enlightenment’s fault for reading some sort of magical book.
A 'young' fae from the Forest, Rascal, has given us permission from the Lord and Lady of the Forest to move through the Great Forest of Erin to strike at the Invaders base.
