Big Red

As any one who has visited Goltho before knows Big Red the generator has not exactly performed as it should have .We have ended up borrowing generators from anyone willing loan them in order for the ‘show to go on’. We felt that after last year, when two members of the committee spent most of the weekend nurturing it through The Goltho week end it was time for the DA to purchase new ones. This obituary was written by one of our members in tribute to our old workhorse.

Lindum DA committee has the sad duty to report the demise of ‘Big Red’ – our faithful, if not very reliable, generator. Shortly before ‘Big Red’ shook off his mortal ignition coil, he pointed us in the direction of two new generators just starting out in life. We would like to wish ‘Big Red’ Good Luck, in the big generator house in the sky, and we look forward to welcoming the new ones. ‘Big Red’ will be sadly missed by the ‘borrowed’ generators, which often stood by his side.
