2002 - 40th Anniversary Trip

Join us in 2002 to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Ford Cortina

To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Ford Cortina in 2002, our Club is organising a Rally to take “Cortinas to Cortina D’Am Pezzo”. It’s been done twice before and speaking from experience it’s great fun. So come on and join us on a tour around Europe, wouldn’t it be great if for the 40th Anniversary we could take 40 Cortina’s to the town they were named after.

Saturday 31st August - Saturday 14th September 2002

Total Cost £1,300 The Total Cost is for 15 nights, for two people sharing a double or twin-bedded room. There will be a supplement for extra passengers. Saturday August 31st overnight in Dover with dinner, bed & breakfast followed by a briefing. Thereafter bed & breakfast in 4 or 5 star hotels. Return Ferry, Dover to Calais.

Proposed Route : Travelling through France, Switzerland (St. Gotthard's Pass), Italy (Lake Como, Lido/Venice and Cortina), Austria via Brenner Pass, Germany (Rhine Valley), Belgium. Return Calais to Dover Saturday evening, 14th September - bed & breakfast only.

Excursions: Schlumpf Museum, following Race Circuits, Monza, Hockenheim, Nurberring, Vence.
