PRACTITIONER OF:

AROMATHERAPY

Aromatherapy is a treatment designed to help the mind, body and spirit of the person by the controlled use of essential oils obtained from plants.

Aromatherapy has its roots in the most ancient healing practice of mankind used by the Egyptians almost 3,000 years before Christ.

Essential oils can be introduced to the body via inhalation, baths, compresses or massage.

An aromatherapy massage is a very soothing and relaxing method of introducing the essential oils to the skin for absorption into the bloodstream and improving circulation and lymph drainage.

Massage also soothes the mind and when the mind is at peace positive feelings like love, contentment, selflessness, etc. Are experienced which encourage good health and stress release.

Essential oils can be used to help with pain relief, insomnia, menopause symptoms, anxiety, memory loss, fatigue and lethargy.

A blend of oils is mixed to suit the person being treated dependant on their physical and emotional condition at that time.

In the first visit to an Aromatherapist a consultation is necessary to assess an individual and to enable the Aromatherapist to choose the oils used which are most suited to the recipient, on occasions client intuition is used, each session is individual and focuses on client needs.  It may be necessary for the approval of a medical practitioner if the person being treated is undergoing medical treatment.
