This website, and it's name "Bartonleclaydesign" is merely a means at to which I (Nicholas D Greenaway) communicate my work and skills to the world. It is in real terms a online portfolio, so in effect there is no company Bartonleclaydesign, It merely serves as a form of communication, recognition and domain name, Everything is directed through me personally. The Name reflects my location and what i do - design, it proves to serve much clearer than to use my actual name.. My Mission statement, says - "There is no more important job than getting information across to people in a clear and interesting way". I hope this website reflects this, in not only a clear and interesting one, but also a fun and informative way.

1./Work that is placed online can be copied, without permission, in many ways, therefore having a exclusive copyright will be hard to enforce. A Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 2.0 UK: England & Wales (CC BY-NC-ND 2.0) copyright is instead enforced, this will entitle the viewer to use any illustrations in many ways, such as a print out or desktop wallpaper, for example. The one main specific however will be under strict conditions that they do not use any work for commercial reasons..that be to profit from the work illegally.

Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 2.0 UK: England & Wales (CC BY-NC-ND 2.0) copyright is renewed every year.

1A .2- Many people unfortunately do not respect graphic design and the time and effort involved in learning and creating work, in viewing and downloading this website, or any of my work work, in any way, you agree to these terms, if you do not agree to them, then you are not welcome. Some images may be listed under a exclusive copyright, this will be clearly labeled. Any work that may be vulnerable to this copyright infringement are simply not placed online.

1b. Q - Proof we created the work.

1b./All work is either embedded with copyright or watermarked, all works originality can also be proven with the original work file. Dimensions and colour settings are also recorded so illegal claims to any logo/design can be authenticated, alot of effort has been taken to protect work, this includes proof that the work is ours.

 

1e. Q - Our Work appears like another work you have seen?

1e. A - Due to the quantity of work and graphics some of these may appear cosmetically similar to other works of the same or similar nature, this will always be a coincidence and it is expected, again due to the quantity of the amount of designs, if there is any dispute we will work happily with you, or any party to resolve any issues. This said we fully expect there will always be differences, even of the most subtle type that will be embedded inside the graphic or work fully providing proof that the work, although similar in appearance were in fact created independently and any references or appearances that match are purely coincidental. It can be presumed there was no prior knowledge of any matching works, nor indeed any wish to explore if another work of similar nature exists online and offline.

Amendment Clarification 1c2./The term 'work' can be applied to anything that is an Illustration,Graphic,Sketch,HTML,CSS, type or Photograph, unless otherwise stated. *Amendment 1d./Work may not have a physical watermarked copyright, or indeed any reference physical or embedded to copyright, however it is still covered by the same standard rights copyright, again this cover's ALL work. Therefore an assumption that ALL work is covered by Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 2.0 UK: England & Wales (CC BY-NC-ND 2.0) License can be assumed unless otherwise specifically stated.

1e./Copyright's clarified in points 1,1a,1b,1c,1c2,1d and 1e also apply directly to any and every online or offline store exclusively. To clarify..all original work for sale, intended for sale or sold is covered by the above mentioned copyright, unless otherwise specifically stated (ie. the copyright has been released). This copyright is permanent and lasts the full lifetime of the product, purchase of any and every product with copyrighted work assumes full agreement of this copyright User Agreement from the customer or customers.

1e2./Agreement with point 1e. - upon ownership of a product with agreed copyrighted image or work - ALL work purchased is intended for personal use only, no commercial gain may be made from work or works in any way, Unless prior agreement is made, no work whatsoever may be sold for full commercial gain. However it is acceptable that, after time products can be swapped, given or sold privately for non-commercial gain. To clarify..it is acceptable that products may be sold on a individual basis after private ownership after a period of time. It is NOT acceptable to bulk-purchase any items and sell them for private of commercial gain, selling a item only applies to single products only in a single transaction.

1e3./copyright covers the work or image only, unless specified differently. Copyright does not cover any product in any way without a copyrighted image or work.
2./Stock Images - All stock images (excluding my own personal images used) are royalty free, I may use the Images - * In digital format on websites, multimedia presentations, broadcast film and video, cell phones. * In printed promotional materials, magazines, newspapers, books, brochures, flyers, CD/DVD covers, etc. * Along with your corporate identity on business cards, letterhead, etc. * To decorate your home, your office or any public place. So therefore, None (that covers every presentation graphic on this website and associated websites) of the works available for viewing on this website (apart from my own graphics/photos) are intended for sale or distribution and are for the sole use of my personal demonstration techniques. I credit the artist of the photo (if available).
2a./The name and term 'BartonleclayDesign', including that of Bartonleclaydesign.co.uk with the inclusion of reference to the name 'BLCD' and any official sub-domains can be regarded as, and indeed is the online presence of Nicholas D. Greenaway. 'BartonleclayDesign' and all of the prior mentioned titles are used as a name for matters of convenience and recognition, all dealings and all work are dealt with through the individual aforementioned.
I also thank them for any stock image and i respect the Image license agreement associated with any image. If the licence for any images changes I will happily remove the associated image or amend the graphic to comply with the new licence, please email me at info@bartonleclaydesign.co.uk .
3./ All other internet-based Downloads are exclusively covered by the same copyright as covered in points 1,1a,1b,1c,1c2 and 1d, unless otherwise stated.
4./Signature - Any Personal signatures, scanned or otherwise, online are representative only, for security purposes. They are also regarded as Artwork and may NOT be used in ANY way whatsoever.
