Kolton Home

Welcome to the Kolton web site.

Kolton are a 5 piece live band playing various covers from different branches of the Rock/Pop family tree.

Available for Pub/Club Gigs, Weddings, Private Functions, Corporate Functions, Dinner Dances and Other Special Occasions.

Kolton was started in December 2005 as a means for original member Tashan to branch out on his own and try setting up a band which would allow him to sing songs which would not normally be associated with bands doing function work etc.

For more information on the history of Kolton and the members of the band, see the About Kolton Page.
For the latest gig information, check out the Gig Guide Page (Last Update: 29/11/2007).

Kolton round off a great day at Wakefield’s Gay Pride Festival 2007.

Hundreds of party goers were treated to a headlining performance given at Wakefield's Gay Pride festival on 12th August 2007. Being the only live band amongst a plethora of mimers, dancers and cabaret acts certainly set them aside. The fact that there were more famous acts there (being paid famous fees) did not stop Kolton from putting on a first class act to close down the festival that literally had hundreds of revelers dancing in the streets.

Pictures and some video of the event will be posted as soon as they are processed.

The first song being played is a cover of a Savage Garden classic the second is a Bon Jovi Classic while the third is taken from the musical/tv-series Sex Chips and Rock & Roll.

Other Artists given the Kolton treatment include: Eagles, Scissor Sisters, Snow Patrol, The Beatles, ABBA, Survivor, Elvis, Mavericks, Status Quo, Phil Collins, Sam Cooke, Culture Club and Free.
