Bellamy
was signed for 6 million pounds from Conventry City in the summer
of 2001.
His speed and turn of pace compliments Alan Shearer's game excellently
and with his willingness to run at defenders and take risks,
Bellamy quickly endeared himself to the St. James' Park crowd.
