Superstock 1000 Championship

1999 saw the introduction of an exciting new series for further audience appeal, the Superstock European Championship.

The category is designed to encourage World Champions of the future, featuring young riders on strictly controlled machinery. This formula has emerged as a proven way to bring young talent into both the SBK Superbikes World Championship and Supersport World Championship.

 

Over the last two seasons Barry has competed in the European Superstock 600 Championship learning the European race circuits and this year sees Barry make the move up to the European Superstock 1000 class riding a Honda CBR1000RR with MS Racing. Barry has been riding with MS Racing for the last two seasons which has seen him built up a very good relationship with the team.

The European Superstock 1000 runs along side the World Superbike Championship, racing at some of the most prestigious circuits in Europe.
