Introducing Barry Burrell, a young motorcycle rider who has the commitment and determination to succeed in his field.

Barry was one of only eight riders in the UK to be selected by the ACU Road Racing Academy in 2002. He was the first to be recruited from the North East in the two years that the Academy had been running.

In 2002 Barry won the BEMSEE B.M.C.R.C. Nationwide Production 125 Cup and secured second place in the MRO Superteen Challenge 2002.
Following his success in such a short period of time on the Aprilla Barry was then offered a ride for Team Great Britian in the BMW Motorrad Boxer Cup for the 2003 season.

2003 was Barry Burrell’s debut year in the international BoxerCup series and he impressively adapted to the unique riding style required for racing the big-bore BMW Boxer twins. Barry’s best result was a fifth place finish at Le Mans in France and secured eleventh position in the championship overall.

2004 was the final season for the BMW Boxer Cup series with Barry finishing 11th overall in the championship standings and finished 3rd in the rankings of the Under 21 Challenge.

2005 saw Barry make his debut on the CBR600 racing for Czech team MS Racing, who had followed Barry's progress through the Boxer Cup. This season was a learning curve for Barry, Getting used to the bike and the high level of competition of the 600 European Superstock class saw Barry become a respectable top 15 runner.

2006 Barry stayed with MS Racing for the 600 European Superstock Championship.Barry acheived an impressive 4th place finish at Magny-Cours and finished a respectable 13th in the Championship.
