Barry signs with MS Racing and Ten Kate for the 2008 SuperStock FIM Cup 1000 Season

2008 sees Barry competing in the FIM Superstock 1000 cup with MS Racing. For this year the team have joined up with Ten Kate as an official junior team.

Barry and his team mate Matej have been training at two different training camps for atheltes with the Czech Republic Olympics Team, two weeks in Czech (nov) and two weeks in Lanzorote (dec). He also did his first ever motorcross race in Czech for training. Ten Kate received the bikes from Japan one week before xmas to begin the preparations. Throughout the year someone from Ten Kate will be working with us all the time and all tests that Ten Kate do in Europe we will be attending. Testing starts in Spain in February. Barry comments that he can't wait to get back on the bike, the last race he finished was at Brans Hatch which also was his first point of the 2007 season. Barry is confident that this season he should be in the top ten and hoping for his first podium in Superstock, he knows that it won't be easy but as long as we find the right set up the new bikes the Honda will be one of the best out there with MS Racing and Ten Kate. Barry has also put a lot more training in including motorcross,gym and cycling in preperation for the start of the season with the help of Peter Hickman (ex-superbike rider), Paul Vasey and Matt Bond.
