Did you Know?
The name Theydon Bois is probably derived from the Saxon for "thatch valley" with Bois being a Norman addition when the area was divided into three.
Theydon Bois is an Essex village, cum London suburb on the edge of Epping Forest, just 15 miles from the city of London. It is on the central line of London's underground train network (although it is overland by the time it reaches Theydon Bois).
It is close to Junction 26 of the M25 On the M11 you need to exit from Junction 6 (Harlow) if coming from the north and Junction 5 (Loughton) if coming from the South (i.e. London) To find us on a map use the contact page .The church is located on the village green, approximately 5 minutes walk from the train station.
