My Ridgeback Genesis Day 00

This was my first adult bike bought for me as a birthday present in 2002. It was my primary and only bike upto jan 2005. It is now used as a beater for around town. It is equipped with a Shimano Sora/tiagra 8-speed drivetrain with a unbranded triple crankset. This type of bike is knowen as a "hybrid" since it is a hybrid of a road and mountain bike. This type of bike was rare when I first bought it in early 2002 although there are many more bikes of this type avalible today. It is mostly stock although the chain and tyres have been replaced since the originals wore out.
