I believe in giving you every chance to learn to drive and pass the test as quickly as possible. Most driving Schools will expect you to remember what happened in the last lesson ! - that lesson may have been a week ago and you may not have been given any reference material.
This is where your progress record card will come in - you have something to keep track of your progress, also useful where private practice is being done so your supervising driver can see what you have been taught and to what level you are at. The progress card comes in a sturdy plastic wallet to keep it safe.
As well as the progress record card you will also get as part of your training pack a Disc that contains the following:
Pictures of the engine and all the safety questions and answers ( you will be asked two of these at the start of your driving test)
Links to various websites including the DSA, pass plus and DVLA
Information on the theory and driving test
A copy of a driving test report (as filled in by your examiner on the day of your driving test)
The disc also contains about 40 information handouts which you can print out or just view on your PC at home, a small selection is shown below
