The 40's & 50's Tribute

Hello and welcome to In The Mood online , this is the part where I let out one or two of my little secrets.

I've been performing as a cabaret artist for a number of years and I can honestly say its the most fun I've ever had at work. I love entertaining people and, trust me, this job gives me the chance to meet and perform for a wide variety of people from all walks of life.

In the last year I've started singing a lot of 40's and 50's music to entertain some of my 'older' audiences and that has given me a love of the music of the era and I wanted to carry that one stage further and create a show of just that music - thus In The Mood was born.

Singing and performing has always been a big part of my life, in particular stage work. I have played a number of roles including Jesus in 'Jesus Christ Superstar' and Madame Thenardier in 'Les Miserables'.

I grew up in Cornwall and despite moving to the Midlands four years ago I still hold a place in my heart for all things Cornish (including a pasty or two)!! It was after getting married that my husband Kris encouraged me to pursue my dream of singing for a living.

Outside of singing most of my time is taken up with Jake, our son, who at 2 is a real handful but a pleasure to be around and an absolute joy.

There's so much more I could tell you about me and my life but it would either A) bore you or B) ruin the illusion. Guess you will just have to book me to find out more......................
