Hello and welcome to my new website, this is the part where I let out one or two of my little secrets and give you a glimpse into what its like to be Amy C!

I've been performing as Amy C for over two years now and I can honestly say its the most fun I've ever had at work. I love entertaining people and, trust me, this job gives me the chance to meet and perform for a wide variety of people from all walks of life.

Singing and performing has always been a big part of my life, in particular stage work. I have played a number of roles including Jesus in 'Jesus Christ Superstar' and Madame Thenardier in 'Les Miserables'.

I grew up in Cornwall and despite moving to the Midlands four years ago I still hold a place in my heart for all things Cornish (including a pasty or two)!! It was after getting married that my husband Kris encouraged me to pursue my dream of singing for a living.

I started off with a CD player, powered mixer and a lot of high hopes but soon realised that this job takes more than a good voice and a pretty(ish) face.

Over the past 18 months I have made my act into a show and will always try to involve as many of the audience as possible. Further details of this can be found by clicking on The Show on the left of the screen.

Outside of singing most of my time is taken up with Jake, our son, who at 2 is a real handful but a pleasure to be around and an absolute joy.

There's so much more I could tell you about me and my life but it would either A) bore you or B) ruin the illusion. Guess you will just have to book me to find out more......................
