We have been looking for

Our reunion in 2002 was
held in Fleetwood Lancs which was the
adopted port of the ship. Many visits had been made over the years to the
port by the ship and on this occasion the association made a gift of a
plaque bearing the Fleetwood Crest (Onward) to the Mayor of the town
Councillor Geoff. Horrocks The date also coincided with the Golden
jubilee of the Queens accession to the
throne.
The plaque is now on display along with other Fleetwood mementoes in the
Fleetwood Maritime museum
