About KD Accounting

KD Accounting was established in 1990 by Karen Dealey as I was then, following eight years experience working in the accounts offices of several large companies, and four years under the wing of a very good local accountant.

I learned my trade processing accounts in the traditional way, on paper, using ledgers and double entry book-keeping methods, before going computerised back in the early days on mainframe systems, and then on to personal computer systems and using the Sage accounting and payroll packages.
