The Emergency Tender (ET) was the appliance that carried all the specialist rescue equipment. Sometimes it performed a dual role as either a BA (Breathing Apparatus) control vehicle or incident command unit.
DELTA 04 sits on the forecourt outside the Brigade Headquarters. The winch can be seen in this view fitted beneath the front of the cab.
As time went on equipment became more advanced and much smaller enabling much of it to be fitted to standard pumping appliances.
