"Well Alight" would seem to describe the events occurring to this building. A substantial stone built three storey building it is ablaze from end to end.
To the right can be seen a jet of water being directed into the first floor. In the top left hand corner (look closely) the cage of an HP (Hydraulic Platform) can be seen. Being used as a water tower it directs its monitor onto the roof.
The fireman figure in the cage has blue tunic / yellow plastic leggings & yellow helmet. This dates as late 70's -80's. HP boom has red / white stripes, perhaps Tynemouth (JULIET) or Pilgrim Street (DELTA) Newcastle?
Surely somebody should remember THIS?
