Here we see support staff posing for a PR shot with a cab reader cassette. This contained a roll of film with the streets of a stations area. As with paper route cards it showed the fastest way to an incident, together with high risks, water supplies etc.
The appliance normally carried adjoining stations areas as cassettes as well - for stand-bys.
Hence the difficulty in confirming prior photographs location.
