We got really fed up with our little dogs bringing in every bit of mud they could find in our garden, so we decided to give it a makeover...

Below is a brief journey through what turned out to be the hottest week of the year, but we survived, just!

Extremely hard work for husband and wife, but SO satisfying. We were also really lucky to have the garden shaded from a terribly overgrown (quercus) Ilex tree that is being "trimmed" next year. It drinks a lot of water but provides welcome shade as the trends in the weather are seemingly getting hotter. It's very fortunate for us that by the time the weather gets that hot, we'll have the shade from our mature Palm trees.
