Welcome to Hybrid Mini Developments.
This is website is about Muppet's and Purplemonster's Mini's as they are developed. This site is not updated very often and when it is I usually post on the www.16vminiclub.com forum.
The mini below is my mini when it was rebuilt as a metro turbo conversion but I wanted more power and reliabilty and opted to go for the Hybrid mini option and fit a 2.0L 16Valve Vauxhall engine into it. I then carried out my own Turbo conversion on the same car. Links are at the bottom of this page. Power is still unknown at the moment and development work is still going on with the engine.

The Mini below is Purplemonster's 1st hybrid mini which was complete until he parked into a roundabout at extremely high speed. Needless to say it did not survive and the car is also being rebuilt. You will find details about his at the bottom of the this page.
