Di indeed was special. She had character
and substance. She remained true to her
convictions and values.
Her beliefs were never compromised
by a desire for approval.
Her kindness was never diluted by a
desire for convenience.
Her loyalty was absolute.
May you always be held safe
in the palm of His hand.

Susanne Isbill

Cher Jeff,

Dear Jeff,
Sometimes God does things we don't understand but we truly believe in our hearts of hearts that he had a good reason for taking our Di from us when he did it. We have learned over and over in our life that in situations like this we just keep repeating the Serenity Prayer.. Di, you are in Gods hands now and we will all miss you
Josette and Jean-Claude Delarge

Di, you will be very much missed.

 Cherrill and Jack Jamieson

Di,
I was just starting to get to know you. And what a start! You were the beginning of the road to saving my baby's life.
You took the time to help we with small things....from computer pages onward.
I saw your big heart and am proud to call you a friend.
God speed sweet Di.
Barb Durtche

Dear Di, for sure I still am your friend across the big blue ocean here in the lower part of the Netherlands.
May you find the peace you deserve and the love ones of you find the powers to go on now you left a very empty place behind.
I will miss you and love you of what you were but in my mind and belevings still are.
May you live in full piece live somewhere up there hopefully aside a rainbow bridge with many Tzu as you like them so much.

I was able to meet Di at the Nationals in St. Louis some years ago, chatted with her on 4U for years, and worked with her on her last rescue calendar. She was a special lady and I will always consider her a friend. I've missed her the past year or so; now I will miss her even more. My heart goes out to her friends and family. I am shocked and saddened by her sudden death.

Hope you and Sealy are having a wonderful reunion, Di.

Lynda Siegel

She was a friend to me when I was sick and in the hospital. She would write private messages to me to keep my spirits up and she was always concerned when anyone's babies were sick or not doing well. I'm sorry we didn't make up after a spat we had. Now it's too late. I'll always regret that.

Diane was a very special and caring person...I will miss her nightly IM messages and her rescue stories. She was so excited about helping to rescue after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.....she was a gift to all of us.
She was a very special person and we are all going to miss her a lot......it's amazing how much impact someone you have never met face to face can have on your life....

My heart goes out to all who knew her, and I'm sorry for those of us who didn't.  I know she was a very special lady from all the wonderful things the group has said about her.  What a beautiful smile.  The world has lost an angel but heaven, and the rainbow bridge, are welcoming her home now.  My love and sympathy.

Di was the very first person I came into contact with online after adopting my first Shih Tzu, Lakota. I'll never forget her warmth and generosity when I had questions or the giggles she got when I bought a Tzu Police T-shirt and posed Lakota in it with a mini police hat and sent it to her. I'll always remember how she laughed when I added little Piper to my Tzu family one month after getting Lakota. She had a very special heart that touched us all deeply. She is missed beyond words.
Much love and condolences.

Di will be missed by many, her work on earth must have been done,
and she was taken much to quickly from all who loved her.
But the beautiful memories of her will always remain.
My deepest sympathy to you, her family.
May you find peace in knowing she was loved by so many.

I always thought it was just wonderful how Keith and Di got along so well. And some but not all of you know, that I would not have a web site if it was not for Di. She was head strong and said what she thought, but I think that is what set her apart from so many.
For those of you that have Boo Babies, you have all received Licker Licenses, Di is the one that created them and used her graphic, that she created, but ended up not using at some point. So it is because of Di, that you have those wonderful pieces of paper.
Di will be missed by so many, as she has touched so many people in one way or another. Did we all see eye to eye, no.....but that doesn't change the way we felt.
Thank you Di for all the wonderful things you have done for many of us. We will miss you.
I am sure Di wouldn't mind me sharing these photos. The is a picture she had sent in of Sealy that I saved .
Here are the pictures I have of Sealy.

Although I didn't know Di very well, I do know how much the tzus and rescue meant to her. She was their Guardian Angel. Now she is resting peacefully with all those that have crossed the bridge and watching over those that need her help.
Lynn

I did not know Di Boege but she sounds like an incredible woman. She will be loved and remember for the great woman she is. Anyone who thinks of those who can not speak for themselves, is to always be rememberd.
Stefanie

I would like to add that Di's husband signed her up to this list for her birthday and after joing she learned about rescue and became very involved in helping raise money for rescues.
Di and Keith, another member of our list that Di met on the list, worked together to design many items that were sold to help rescue. They did this with her in the US and him in the UK. I don't think he would mind me sharing this part of the website with all.

Di and Sealy

Together for Eternity

I never had the opportunity to meet Di in person, but just hearing the heartfelt stories of how she helped with rescue, as well as being there for anyone that needed her, showed me what a wonderful person she was. Through emails, I was able to see for myself how caring and kind she could be. She will truly be missed

In These Mortal Coils
We Go
Through This Life Time
But Once

We Come To Teach
and
We Come To Learn

When The Tasks Set Before Us
have been done
It is time to continue the journey of our evolution.

Perhaps to be re-born to carry out the process once again
and to be again with those of our companions of this journey.

It is said that we travel in a group of 12 close companions
and that we each of us know and associate with 100 others.
In the many stages of our evolution we 12 will eventually find one another
butmay not find but perhaps only
one other in our group of 100 in each of the many lives we will live.
But when we do it is as if we have found a part of ourselves that has been lost.

I believe that Di has found not one, not two but many of her group
of her 100 others.

Di, you were much loved in this life time and you not only learned those lessons that you were to learn
but
You passed on the knowledge to others through your love and selfless devotion.

you will indeed be missed by those of us you have left behind but go ahead
for we rejoice for you and will look for you in another life time and we will recognize
one another for we are of the 12

With much Love
Bill

Di you had Dreams and began to work towards them
You Never ever let Your Dreams Die
You were Courageous and Acted to make them Come True
Now Many Loved Ones and Friends in the World today Di Love and Applaud You for your Achievements your Kindness and for Your Love and say Thank You for Being You ...
As You are Missed More than Words Can Say ....

Joan and Gang

Di was my friend. We shared the same passion for Tzu and our lives through cyberspace.

I think these words borrowed from Kalil Gibran say it best.

And a youth said, "Speak to us of Friendship."

Your friend is your needs answered.

He is your field which you sow with love and reap with thanksgiving.

And he is your board and your fireside.

For you come to him with your hunger, and you seek him for peace.

When your friend speaks his mind you fear not the "nay" in your own mind, nor do you withhold the "ay."

And when he is silent your heart ceases not to listen to his heart;

For without words, in friendship, all thoughts, all desires, all expectations are born and shared, with joy that is unacclaimed.

When you part from your friend, you grieve not;

For that which you love most in him may be clearer in his absence, as the mountain to the climber is clearer from the plain.

And let there be no purpose in friendship save the deepening of the spirit.

For love that seeks aught but the disclosure of its own mystery is not love but a net cast forth: and only the unprofitable is caught.

And let your best be for your friend.

If he must know the ebb of your tide, let him know its flood also.

For what is your friend that you should seek him with hours to kill?

Seek him always with hours to live.

For it is his to fill your need, but not your emptiness.

And in the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter, and sharing of pleasures.

For in the dew of little things the heart finds its morning and is refreshed.
