The end of February 2009 saw the first stages of redeveloping the Outdoor Nets at The Glebe. Thanks to a Grant from the Essex Community Initiative of 16K we will have new state of the art Nets installed by the beginning of 2009 season. However, in preparation for the installation some of the club members started on the necessary groundwork.

The Work Begins
Luke Conway in his Foremans coat gives the thumbs up at the beginning of the day. However, it appears there is only one man doing the job !! All this drilling is surely not going to do the twitch any good.

Ruts is still drilling and breaking up the concrete, whilst the Foreman Luke moves in to have a closer look.

Time for a well deserved cuppa (well at least for Ruts...not sure about the others). A good mornings work sees the first net broken up. Now looking for good weather prior to the main build in April.
