The customer who owned the sycamore tree in the left hand image felt total removal would be a waste and wanted a lasting reminder of the tree. After a long discussion it was decided that the trunk would be left standing and a team of local chainsaw carvers set to work turning a plain sycamore stump into a 9 foot high replica of an Easter Island statue to watch over the garden. Work like this can be carried out almost anywhere with the right size piece of timber, please contact me if you require further information.
