Trained in Fine Art, Kate Rose Stern works with a range of mixed media;paint,fabric, ink and natural materials such as flowers twigs and leaves. These enable her to give her paintings a 3D character.

Kate Rose is inspired by images from nature: trees, clouds, rocks, sunsets and water, whose patterns and colours she records photographically; she then transforms these images using her textured media in order to capture and enhance her perceptions on canvases of variable size.
