A Days Flying

I`m frightened

fly me low, i`m not as scared

This is an original X-cell 60 (1989) which has recently undergone a slight upgrade. Longer tail boom, and longer blades plus the obligatory "3D" fin set.
Still flying after 11 years says something for this design
.

X-cell roars off

Here`s the X-cell about to roar off up the field. Caught in the act by Gaz (my web-dude who`s responsible for all the work needed to keep this site up to date). This heli is still one of the best flying machines I`ve ever owned, although I no longer own it. It lives, but it`s scared ! :-)

Yellow X-cell

X-Cell Hovering

Yet ANOTHER X-cell. Bought second hand by the same guy who bought the previous X-cell (he`s a bit obssesive :-) but this one`s running with a Super Tigre motor using only 10% oil in the straight (no nitro) fuel. Seems to be working, but time will tell.

Priscilla the pig hangs low

Look after Pricilla John

Concept 60 SR bought second hand by a pal of mine and which goes by the name of "Priscilla the Pig". This name "arrived" at about the same time the "Concept Wobble" arrived. The wobble disappeared after some advice from Bob Johnston, but the name stuck. An excellent training machine.

Pig in a tree

This is Priscilla scaring the trees. Not by flying to close to them but because trees don`t like the flying pollution machine.

Concept in its glory

into the wild blue yonder

Concept SR-X being flown under instruction by it's owner. Modified by the fitting of DX aluminium paddles to increase stability and reduce "twitchiness" Our intrepid FNG thinks it's "The Dogs Bollocks" and for once, he's right :-)
