Solar panels can save 50 to 70% of the energy used for DHW heating each year.
Solar panels absorb both visible light and invisible infrared light, so they will work even in cloudy conditions.
During the summer can even meet the entire demand for DHW heating.
Solar panels can also be used to back up central heating systems.
Solar panels can be attached on roofs, walls or incorporated in roofs.

How a Solar System Works
Panels containing a special fluid which never boils or freezes are placed on your roof. The sun heats the fluid, which is pumped through pipework to your hot-water cylinder, where its heat transfers to the water. The fluid returns to the panels and the cycle repeats. An expansion vessel allows the fluid to expand and contract as the temperature changes, and a control box with a digital display shows how much energy your panels generated.
