MILE WALK FUNDRAISERS is a company dedicated to funding further research into treatments for cancer that do not involve chemotherapy. All chemotherapy is highly toxic, and can cause irreversible damage to the body. With your help we aim to find the cure, relieving the suffering of the 1 in 3 people in the UK who develop cancer.
We aim with the help of our friends and the general public, to raise funds
through organised events, entertainment nights with raffles, tombola,
bingo and auctions with donated prizes. Fun runs, football matches, and
organised marathons, in fact any way in which funds can be raised for
this most worthy cause, we will do our utmost to organize it.
MILE WALK FUNDRAISERS formed as a registered company
in June 2007, although we have been raising funds for Clatterbridge Oncology
Unit since 2003. Our charitable company consists of a number of hardworking
individuals, who do not receive any payment for their efforts, except
of course the feel good factor in the knowledge they are supporting such
a worthy cause.
We shall endeavour on this page to inform all our friends and readers
of forthcoming events, names of benefactors (if they wish) and how funds
were raised. We shall also add links to websites with the latest news
regarding alternative therapies.
