SIDMOUTH AND EAST DEVON
Stoneleigh Holiday and Leisure Village is located in the small village of Weston, two miles from the select seaside resort of Sidmouth. The park is situated within a designated area of outstanding natural beauty in an elevated position overlooking Weston Combe and enjoys superb sea views.
Sidmouth is noted for its mild climate and fine floral gardens. It has excellent shopping facilities and a wide stretch of safe shingle/pebble beach.
The neighbouring resorts of Exmouth, Seaton and Lyme Regis are a short drive away and the park is a good base for touring the South West with Weymouth, Torbay, Exeter and Plymouth also in close proximity.
The peaceful and picturesque coastal village of Branscombe is just two miles away and the coastal footpath is a short walk from the park entrance.
Sidmouth is home to the famous Donkey Sanctuary which is located next door to Stoneleigh Holiday and Leisure Village. The attraction is open all year round and entry is free of charge. The Donkey Sanctuary is an essential visit if you have young children or you are an animal lover.
Other local attractions include Crealy Adventure Park (Exeter), Bicton Park-Botanical Gardens (East Budleigh), Pecorama (Beer), Seaton Tramway (Seaton-Colyton), Kents Cavern (Torquay) and Paignton Zoo (Paignton).
