PENZANCE AND SOUTH WEST CORNWALL
Kenegie Manor Holiday Park is located in the small village of Gulval approximately two miles from the lively coastal resort of Penzance. The park is surrounded by gentle rolling hills and there are views of the world famous St. Michael's Mount from the entrance to the holiday park.
This extreme point of South West Cornwall is recognised as the mildest area of mainland Britain and many sub-tropical plants and flowers flourish in the mild climate and extended growing season here.
The holiday park is situated one and a half miles from the nearest coastline and a sandy beach stretches from Penzance to Marazion along Mounts Bay. A little further on is Praa Sands and the small fishing village of Porthleven. Beyond Penzance are the coastal towns of Newlyn and Mousehole. The site is just five miles from Land's End and a short drive to the seaport, heliport and airport serving the Isles of Scilly. Day trips to both St. Mary's and Tresco are available. The Lizard peninsular lies to the East of Mounts Bay and boasts the most Southerly point of mainland Britain.
Other local attractions include Crealy Adventure Park (Nr Newquay), The Eden Project (St. Austell), Flambards Theme Park (Helston), St. Michael's Mount (Marazion), The Scilly Isles, St. Ives, Goonhilly Satellite Earth Station (Nr Helston), The Cornish Cider Farm (Penhallow), The Trevarno Estate and Legendary Land's End.
