Vision & Mission StatementAction Deafness aspires to: “A society where we have shared understanding between Deaf, Deafened, Deafblind, Hard of Hearing and Hearing people, and where communication is seamless.”
Action Deafness aims to improve quality of life by promoting independence and equality of opportunity for Deaf, Deafened, Deafblind and Hard of Hearing people.
We aim to do this by:
- Promoting effective communication and improving access to services.
- Increasing the status and participation of deaf and hard of hearing people from diverse backgrounds.
- Providing specialist support, learning and community services.
