Welcome to IWA Chiltern Branch .
During the winter months - September to April - we hold regular meetings in Amersham
with guest speakers and audio visual shows on waterways related topics. As you will see on
our Branch Events Page we are organising a weekend visit to the waterways of the North
West. There are still a few places left for anyone interested. Past trips have been
organised to a "distant" venue such as the Norfolk Broads, and a day trip to a
more local site e.g.Chatham Dockyard. A new addition to our Autumn programme is our Golf
day at the Lambourne Golf Club, Amateurs and professionals all welcome. Again see Branch
Events page for further details. We also participate in waterways festivals - both local
e.g. Wendover (Tring) and Rickmansworth, and National festivals e.g. St Ives, Autherly
Junction and recently, Redhill Marina on the River Soar.
