The Trip to Aspen, Colorado was organised by Janet on behalf of the UK Friends of John Denver. A group of over 30 members left Gatwick for Denver on the 8th October and after an overnight stay in Georgetown the group arrived by coach in Aspen on the 9th October. The blue skies and brilliant sunshine that greeted the group stayed for the whole week with no sign of the snow which had been forecast.
Visits to Windstar, Maroon Bells, Woody Creek and Ashcroft along with numerous concerts made the week unforgettable.
