BODY SHOPPING

Imagine if you could choose your own body

Just think of how wonderful it would be

You could select from all shape and sizes

From the myriad of nature's

Oh imagine if you could choose your own body

You could become your own favourite celebrity

Stepping through those curtains, and into the spotlight

Saying, "And tonight Mathew I'm going to be!"

OK, you may need restrictions or quotas

A limited addition Brad Pitt

But B.O.G.O.F.F could be an incentive

For every Marilyn Monroe, you can have a free Eartha Kitt

The Body Shop, would really be a body shop

With torsos hanging on racks

Either off the peg, or if required made to measure

And each comes with a guaranteed, sixteen day money back

Of course there would be a downside

Cosmetic Surgery will become obsolete

Doctors would hang up their scalpels

And chiropodists would have to admit defeat

But just think of all the poor trans-sexuals

And how much easier their sex- changes would be

No longer the need for painful, extensive, reconstructive surgery

It would be a quick in and out, and home in time for Richard and Judy

But some say it's not our place to interfere

That nature should be left well alone

How beauty is only skin deep

Though sadly ugliness goes right to the bone!
