ACCIDENT PRONE

Don't know about you, but I'm accident prone,

I surely am losing my head.

I drop things, I lose things, I break things, I smash things,

and that's before I'm out of bed!

I am such a walking disaster, I trip and I slip and I fall.

When I first moved to the house I live in now,

I fell over a six inch wall.

A good lesson learned, you would think so,

"Won't do that again," I did speak.

But would you flippin' believe it,

I did it again the next week!

I've gone shopping, not taken my purse,

someone else had to pick up the bill.

It's not easy being so clumsy,

and takes years to build up the skill!

I've now got it down to a fine art,

you could say I'm top of the class.

You could call me Calamity Jane,

you know that wild west lass.

I've smashed other peoples wine glasses,

broken umpteen electrical goods.

I answered myself on the phone once,

and exploded some microwave spuds!

I once left someone's door open,

and there it stayed open all day.

I left the same person's gas hob on,

as I went on my merry old way.

I'm oblivious to the chaos around me,

and leave trails of destruction, but hey!

What can I do, I can't help it,

and tomorrows always another day.

There's a list of disasters to mention,

too many but no time to tell.

Just remembered I should have picked Gran up at six,

I just hope that she is wrapped up well.
