Choral songs by Elgar and Parry, Five Negro Spirituals by Michael Tippett (b1905) and a premiere of The Kestrel Road by Sir Peter Maxwell Davies, Master of the Queen's Music; a new work we have jointly commissioned with 46 other choirs via Making Music in celebration of the composer’s 70th birthday.
