Formed in 1923, the JCC claims to be the oldest one-make car club in the world.
The Jowett Car Club is the oldest one make car club in the world having been formed in 1923! Jowett Car Clubs sprang up in Bradford and the South of England in 1923. There were also a number of Jowett social clubs throughout the country, primarily to take part in hill climbs and time trials. The only one to survive the war was the Southern Jowett Car Club and the word “Southern” was omitted in 1964; hence our claim to be the oldest one make car club in the world.

The club has members from all over the world with Jowett  affiliated clubs in Australia, New Zealand, Denmark , Sweden and the United  States. The Jupiter Owners Auto Club (JOAC) is also affiliated.

Club members can be sure of a hearty welcome wherever they travel in the world where there are Jowetts!

The membership list contains details as to whether members offer assistance or can offer spares. The JCC is a very friendly club, which is why it has lasted so long with many families having three generations in the club and many cars are inherited.
