The Woodchurch

Now Renamed to 'Snowdrop'

This boat was again built by Philips in 1962
I managed to catch her nearly in her as built condition, with her original Engine room intact The only augmentation being the addition of a couple of Alternators.
Like the other boats she now has a fully enclosed Bridge, although my shaky memory seems to recall that she was built that way. I am open to correction.
As such she was a delight to me. The medium speed Cossleys I had come to love as a child were still there and the sound of them when she left Seacombe was pure music to me. Suppose that I will never hear it again as she is also to be re-engined.

This was written quite a while back and now she is gone, to be reborn as the bus engined Snowdrop
