This page is dedicated to the local theatres in Portsmouth. Around the turn of the 1900's Portsmouth had 6 theatres, but now it only has 2. The first is the Kings Theatre in Southsea and the second is the New Theatre Royal in Portsmouth.

The Kings is just surviving and the New Theatre Royal is being restored and used at the same time.
