For help in breathing through the contractions during labour:

 

 

The Shooing breath helps you through your contractions in first stage of labour and beyond, keeping you calm and relaxed. Anna talks you through the breath and then helps you release tension after each contraction by using what we call 'take-your-shoes-off-breath'. 

 

Lots of Anna's students have used this breath successfully without the need of pain relief or only a small amount of pain relief.
